So you may think all the barking is there just to test your patience. That eating your shoes is a vengeance for being left alone, that yawning is obviously a sign of tiredness. Or that they know they did something wrong when he ate your phone charger.
And frankly, I cannot blame you for that. These are all beliefs that have been circulating for a long time.
The truth is: we misread our dogs and miscommunicate much more than we know. And to be fair, a happy life with a dog is relatively easy once you learn their language.
Dogs are people pleasers, they are unconditional love: that's why we are so fond of them. What humans tend to forget is that they are a different species, with specific needs that are not the same as ours. And obviously a different communication.
A 2025 study published in the US shows that 99.12% of dogs have or had behavioural issues.
This is why this program has been developed. You may not have any issue with your dog now, and this is great. But if you want to prevent strange or unwanted actions from happening and, at the same time, strengthen your bond, let's do a relationship review together.
Knowing how dogs learn, how they communicate and what they need is not as obvious as we think, but it's invaluable if you have a dog at home.
